Movie’s 15-minute nude scene blowing viewer’s minds
One of the most highly rated horror thrillers on Rotten Tomatoes features a lengthy nude scene that will leave your jaw on the floor.
A young woman is raped by three men and left for dead in the desert. She survives the harrowing assault and sets out on a bloody quest for revenge against her vile attackers.
This is the heavy plot line of one of the top-rating action thriller films available for streaming, but there’s a chance you may not have even heard of it.
Revenge, a 2018 French movie from first-time director Coralie Fargeat, stars Belgian actor Kevin Janssens as Richard, a super wealthy and stereotypically masculine bloke who takes his gorgeous young mistress Jen, played by Italian actress and model Matilda Lutz, to his remote, luxury retreat in the desert for an intimate weekend.
The couple’s sexy getaway is interrupted by Richard’s two sleazy, also married friends, Stan (Vincent Columbe) and Dimitri (Guillaume Bouchède) for an unannounced hunting trip.

Things take an ugly turn from the moment the two friends arrive a day earlier than planned. After a night of the four drinking together, and Jen dancing seductively with Stan, he rapes her the following morning, and the sexual abuse is watched by Dimitri. The scene is incredibly violent, and difficult to watch.
The situation escalates after Richard realises what has happened and tries to force her to move to Canada, despite her begging to go home to Los Angeles. Jen threatens to expose the pair’s relationship to his wife and then flees into the desert, pursued by the three men on foot.
Cornered on the edge of a cliff, Richard panics and shoves his girlfriend over the ledge and she is impaled by a tree branch – another super graphic and bloody scene.
This is probably a good time to note that, given the extraordinarily graphic violence in this film, it’s not for everyone.
Without going into further gory detail, Jen survives the cliff ordeal and begins to exact a Kill Bill-like style of bloody revenge over all three of the men.
“After Jen is left for dead, her re-emergence could fairly be written off as absurd, but its sheer unlikelihood gives her an almost supernatural quality, like she’s animated by the souls of wronged women past. When she uncorks her fury on her adversaries, Fargeat turns Revenge into a tense, bloody, riveting cat-and-mouse game that embraces the slick tracking shots and can-you-top-this nastiness that’s come to define the French horror brand,” reads a Variety review.
“These three infernos of violence are stomach-turningly shocking, though without the tension of something recognisably rooted in real life. A well made film, which slithers confidently in its slick of blood,” the Guardian wrote after the film’s release, calling it a “gorgeously shot tale of hideous violence”.
Revenge received a 92 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and left critics questioning how such a brilliant thriller could possibly be the debut feature film from Fargeat.
Yet, despite the overwhelmingly positive reaction at the time of the its release, it’s curious there’s not more written about the movie’s jaw-dropping nude scene at the end that lasts a total of 15 whole minutes.
News.com.au reporter Andrew Bucklow recently declared the lengthy scene was reason enough to stream the movie.
“I’ll be honest, Revenge is worth watching for the final scene alone, as a 15-minute long naked game of cat and mouse plays out in all its bloody glory,” he said.
