INTERNATIONAL MURAL FEST

Every year, nine artists from around the world compete in a public ‘paint off’ at Sheffield from Easter Sunday to the following Saturday, transforming the town — in the heart of the Cradle Mountain touring region — into a bustling outdoor gallery. ANZAC DAY SERVICES
More than 80 Tasmanian towns and cities from Avoca to Zeehan will hold Anzac Day services, parades and gunfire breakfasts to commemorate the Anzac landings at Gallipoli in 1915.
HOBART — Dawn service, Hobart Cenotaph, 6am. Followed by breakfast at Hobart Workers Club (213 Liverpool Street). Main parade along Macquarie St at 10.30am followed by Hobart Cenotaph service at 11.40am.
LAUNCESTON — Dawn service, Launceston Cenotaph, 6am. Followed by public breakfast at Launceston RSL. Main parade at 10.15am (from Princes Square) followed by service at Launceston Cenotaph at 11am and public barbecue lunch at Launceston RSL.
BURNIE — Dawn service, Burnie Cenotaph, 6am, followed by an RSL breakfast. Main parade at 10.40am (from Burnie RSL) followed by a Burnie Cenotaph service at 11am and RSL lunch.

FRESH HOP BEER FESTIVAL
VINCENT ST, LAUNCESTON, FRIDAY

Celebrate the harvest with local brewers using fresh hops to make single-batch beers on tap for this three-day festival. The street behind Saint John Craft Beer will be transformed into a hub of beer, food, masterclasses and live music. Gates open 3pm. The event runs until 5pm on Sunday.
