NOT content with global modelling success, Jordan and Zac Sternmark are heading in another career direction.
The pair look set to become the ultimate slashies (model/actors) and have started studying the fine art of being thespians with the renowned Les Chantery.
A NIDA graduate, Les is known for his roles in Sleeping Beauty and Righteous Kill, and starred in the sci-fi feature film, Pitch Black alongside Vin Diesel.
In 2007, Les was awarded the Mike Walsh Fellowship, where he studied Film Making in Los Angeles and New York and appeared in the feature film Righteous Kill with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.
The Stenmarks were joined by their dad, head of Donate Planet, Damien Stenmark, when they accepted their Men of Style (x2) award at the GQ Men of the Year awards during the week.
It was an action-packed, chic event — from Asher Keddie showing off her beautiful baby bump to Ian Thorpe making a red carpet and award-accepting appearance (he took home a gong for Man of Influence) - so the night’s main sponsor, Chivas, must have been doing something right. Partying went on til the very, very early morning at an after party in the Ivy’s Den.
• WOMEN OF INFLUENCE WITH MODELCO
ModelCo Founder and CEO Shelley Barrett will host a special and exclusive Women Of Influence event at One & Only Hayman Island from this Sunday.
ModelCo has invited media and social circuit names like Kate Waterhouse, Sally Obermeder, Anna Heinrich, Erika Heynatz, bikini blogger Natasha Oakley (and this media munchkin too) as those tagged the ‘tastemakers’ of what’s hot in popular culture. What a wrap!
Barrett, who is currently writing a book, has steered the Australian ModelCo brand to cult status and global distribution. Tan In A Can anyone?
Along the way, Shelly has developed a longstanding association with Hayman, hosting some very large beauty launches for her ModelCo brand (and a significant birthday party too) on the island.
“One & Only Hayman Island’s gorgeous beauty and chic glamour has a perfect synergy with my ModelCo brand,” says Shelly.
“The island has always been a personal favourite of mine for inspiration and relaxation. I particularly wanted to bring together a group of women who could experience not only the picturesque location but also the supreme elegance of the One & Only Hayman Island resort,” says Barrett.
In true ModelCo and One & Only style, guests have a glamour-packed itinerary arranged which includes sunset cocktail parties, a luxury boat cruise around the Great Barrier Reef and beauty treatments in the One & Only Spa. Sounds like a perfect pre-festive treat.
