Russell Brand befriended heroin addict, offered money to sleep with prostitute girlfriend: report

Russell Brand once lived with a heroin-addicted couple and propositioned the prostitute wife, according to a new report.

Disgraced British comedian Russell Brand once befriended a heroin addict, then humiliated him by offering £50 $A95) to let him sleep with his prostitute girlfriend.

According to the Daily Mail, Brand was working on a comedy documentary series in which the incident resulted in social services being called after Brand spent a week living with the couple and their toddler daughter.

The couple rejected the comedian’s proposition.

The report claims that Brand’s sidekick Matt Morgan was left to look after the couple’s daughter because the adults were high on drugs, including Brand who was using heroin at the time.

He later admitted “using with them [the couple] the whole time we were making the programme”.

The Mail on Sunday reveals the production company behind the documentary was so disturbed by the footage they called in authorities.

In a podcast earlier this year, Morgan referenced the appalling incident as the focus of an episode of RE:Brand, in which they filmed one episode living with the heroin-addicted couple.

He recalled that the production company head said, “This can’t go on telly because they’ll lose custody of their child.”

Morgan recalled that after a week, Brand turned to the boyfriend and said: “I want to give you 50 quid . . . I’m going to have sex with her.”

Morgan said the boyfriend “started crying”.

The filming occurred after a drug-fuelled holiday with Brand in which the disgraced comedian went into “full-on sex addiction mode and he was like, ‘I need to go and f*** a prostitute,’” but Brand felt put off when he saw toys in the house. But that aborted encounter gave him the idea to explore how prostitutes were only appealing if you could “dehumanize” them, Morgan explained.

The resulting episode, which was never shown but which Brand writes about in his memoir Booky Wooky was “just tragic, it was awful,” said Morgan.

BRAND GRILLED NINE YEARS AGO OVER SEX ASSAULT CLAIMS

Russell Brand was interviewed by police over claims he sexually assaulted a masseuse and treated her “like a prostitute.”

The alleged victim is understood to have formally complained to police nine years ago when she claimed she was “touched in a sexual way” at a mansion in Oxfordshire in south east England.

She also claimed the assault left her traumatised when it allegedly occurred in June 2014.

Brand, 48, was interrogated by police from the Thames Valley after the woman complained he inappropriately touched her while she was hired to give him a $A949 birthday massage.

She told The Sun on Sunday that when she protested she was escorted out of the house without giving the massage.

The woman told police she was scared, and shocked by the alleged encounter which she said lasted 40 minutes.

The newspaper reports he told police in the interview that he was uneasy when the woman arrived and decided to back out of the massage but that she was paid for the agreed fee.

The development comes after he was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse by multiple women between 2006 and 2013, which was revealed by the Sunday Times and Channel 4.

The disgraced comedian took to social media and said “it’s been an extraordinary and distressing week”.

In his video statement, Brand denied the “criminal” and “very serious” allegations and insisting all of his sexual relationships had been consensual.

He launched the bizarre rant on his Instagram platform after YouTube suspended him from receiving money for “violating our Creator and Responsibility” from his yoga and health channel.

Addressing his supporters cheerily on Friday, he began: “Hello there you awakening wonders, I thank you very much for your support and for questioning the information you’ve been presented with”.

“By now, you’re probably aware that the British government have (sic) asked big tech platforms to censor our online content.

“Some online platforms have complied with that request.

“What you may not know is that this happens in the context of the Online Safety Bill – this is UK legislation that grants sweeping surveillance and censorship powers and is a law that has already been passed.

“I also don’t imagine that you’ve heard of the trusted news initiative and now, as often is the case when a word like trusted is used as part of an acronym to describe an unelected body, trust is the last thing you should be offering.

“The trusted news initiative is a collaboration between big tech and legacy media organisations to target, patrol, choke and shut down independent media organisations.”

It comes as an eighth alleged victim has spoken out, claiming Brand “ripped her tights” and refused to call a cab for her until she performed a sex act on him.

However, she said while the pair did have consensual sex, she later felt ”forced and coerced”.

The allegations come also just a day after another alleged victim claimed that Brand exposed his ”flaccid penis on his hand” to a woman in Los Angeles just moments before laughing about the incident live on BBC Radio 2.

Brand has denied all alelgations made against him.
