Royal Family wish Kate Middleton a happy birthday after Prince Harry’s bombshell interview

The Royal Family were yet to send out a message in the wake of Prince Harry’s latest interview... until now.

Prince Harry 'probably spends too much time with Hollywood therapists'

King Charles and Camilla ignored Harry’s explosive interview while publicly wishing Princess Kate a happy birthday.

The Princess of Wales celebrated her 41st birthday just one day before the Duke of Sussex’s controversial memoir hits shelves.

Charles and Camilla shared a touching tribute to the Princess.

On the Royal Family Twitter, they posted a photo of Kate receiving flowers from a child, with the caption: “Wishing The Princess of Wales a very Happy Birthday today!”

It is the first time the Royal Family have spoken out since Harry called Camilla “dangerous” in an extraordinary attack on his stepmother.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, also told presenter Anderson Cooper on CBS’s 60 Minutes that Camilla was the “villain” as his father’s “other woman”.

And he accused Camilla of showing an “open willingness” to trade information with the press as she campaigned to marry Charles.

A flood of inflammatory claims have emerged from Harry’s tell-all autobiography Spare, which was leaked and also put on sale early in Spain ahead of its official release on Tuesday.

But it is not the first time Kate’s birthday has fallen in the shadow of bombshell revelations from the Sussex camp.

Harry and Meghan made the shock announcement that they would be stepping back as senior members of the royal family on January 8, 2020.

Kate marked her 40th birthday last year by releasing three striking images of her dancing in Alexander McQueen dresses taken by celebrated fashion photographer Paolo Roversi.

This year, Kate’s birthday comes after intimate details about Harry’s life and family, including claims about his sister-in-law, have emerged from his new memoir.

The duke claims in the book that William and Kate encouraged him to wear the Nazi uniform to a fancy dress party in 2005 and “both howled” at the idea.

He also writes that Meghan upset Kate by saying she must have “baby brain” in the run-up to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s 2018 wedding. Kate demanded an apology and William pointed a finger at Meghan and called her “rude”, Harry claims

The Duke of Sussex also writes about the infamous fight between Meghan and Kate during a bridesmaids’ dress fitting for Princess Charlotte, claiming he found his wife “on the floor” in tears after the fallout.

Also in the book, the duke says that Kate reluctantly lent Meghan her lip gloss, was “taken aback” by the request to borrow it and “grimaced” when Meghan squeezed some on to her finger and applied it to her lips.

Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace have declined to comment but the book is being seen as damaging Harry’s fragile relationship with his brother - a future king - beyond repair.
