A royal expert says Prince Harry has “plenty more to spill” in his memoir, including what Prince William really said in his Netflix doco text.

Prince Harry has “plenty more to spill” in his upcoming tell-all memoir, Spare, a royal expert says, with the Duke of Sussex free to answer questions left remaining after his recent Netflix series such as what Prince William said to him via text message.

Royal watchers have been speculating on what revelations the new book could contain following the explosive Netflix series Harry & Meghan.

The ghost-written Spare, published by Penguin Random House in a $A64m book deal, is set to be released on January 10.

The audiobook version, which will be available on Amazon’s Audible, will be narrated by Prince Harry himself.

Katie Nicholl, author of The New Royals, told OK Magazine the title, which refers to Prince Harry’s longtime label as back-up king to Prince William, is indicative that the book will focus on the Duke’s childhood frustrations, as well as wife Meghan Markle.

Ms Nicholl said: “I suspect we will hear more about growing up royal which will be very interesting and clearly his journey to find the one.

“Their love story will perhaps be retold. There is still a lot more he can say, there are conversations he can cover.”

Ms Nicholl said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s capacity to “throw in a few more bombs just when you thought there were no more” should not be underestimated especially due to the sizeable book deal.

“He can reveal the alleged racist royal, he can reveal what William actually said in that text message which was so tantalisingly held up to Meghan but not screened to the rest of the world.”

When it comes to the royal family’s response to any new allegations, Ms Nicholl said: “I don’t think the royal family are terrified by anything, least of all of what is going to come next in Harry’s autobiography.

“But concerned, apprehensive? Yes. Ready to respond? Quite possibly. Wearied by all of this? Absolutely.”
