Former US President Donald Trump has sensationally called for the Queen to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal titles.

In a world exclusive interview with Piers Morgan, Mr Trump said Prince Harry, who quit royal duty to live in the US with Meghan, was the most “whipped” man he has ever seen.

In an astonishing interview, Mr Trump predicted that the couple would split and Prince Harry would return to London once Meghan has dumped him.

Asked by Morgan whether he would strip them of their titles, Mr Trump said: “I would. It’s the only thing I disagree on with the Queen.

“The Queen’s loyalty is to the country - she said that many times. And I think that he has been so disrespectful to the country,” Mr Trump said.

Mr Trump also spoke to Morgan about his love of the Queen — and how the controversial broadcaster was wrong to storm off Good Morning Britain over a spat about Meghan.

The full interview will air on the premiere episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored on Sky News Australia, to air on Tuesday at 9pm AEST.

“I’m not a fan of Meghan, and I wasn’t from the beginning,” Mr Trump told Morgan.

“Poor Harry is being led around by his nose. And I think he’s an embarrassment And I think when she spoke badly of the royal family, but in particular the Queen you know, I met the Queen. It was supposed to be for 20 minutes.”

“But I met her and it turned out to be more than an hour, substantially, because she liked me and I liked her and she let it be known. She liked me and I let it be known.

“It was supposed to be just a quick meeting. And it was beautiful. The pomp and ceremony, nobody does it like the English I don’t know what it is. But nobody does it.”

MORGAN’S NEW ROLE

Piers Morgan announced his long-awaited return to TV following his infamous rant about Meghan Markle which saw him storm off the Good Morning Britain set with the promise of being truly uncensored.

With Morgan set to launch his new TV show this week, titled Piers Morgan Uncensored, the outspoken host has shared a few details about the new show.

During a visit to British morning show Lorraine, Morgan teased that there would be more scandalous views and controversial stances in his “live and definitely uncensored” new show.

Morgan has lost more than a few gigs over his outspokenness with one colleague wishing him “good luck” in a tweet.

The TV presenter, 57, last year left his job for refusing to issue an apology to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry over his controversial comments.

After tens of thousands of people complained about his remarks about Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, he made the decision to leave his position after six years, famously storming off the show’s set after a spat with weatherman Alex Beresford.

While Morgan’s TV career has been punctuated by controversy and explosive verbal moments, the British broadcaster also said there was another, quiet side to him.

In an interview with The Australian, Morgan said: “On TV, the one thing I’ve learned is that the power of silence is fantastic,”

“David Frost and Michael Parkinson both told me that sometimes saying nothing can create a moment of magic because guests tend to fill the void with the most revealing stuff.

“I’m not naturally someone who lends himself to much silence, but along the way I’ve learned that the delicate art of the TV interview is to know the right time to sit back – particularly when people are beginning to get emotional about something, or you feel like they’re going to say something that they’ve been holding back.

“Just sit back and say nothing. All the best interviewers are great listeners.”

Morgan also revealed he is a big fan of listening and improvising.

“Whatever script you may have prepared for an interview, if suddenly out of nowhere your guest says something extraordinary that you weren’t prepared for, then go with it.

“Don’t be afraid to rip everything up and run with the moment.”

When Morgan announced new details about his upcoming return to TV, he said in a statement that he was “forced to leave a job that I loved at the peak of its success for having the audacity to express an honestly held opinion.”

The first guest in the hot seat with be former US president Donald Trump.

It is being billed as “the most explosive interview of the year.”

In teased footage Trump appeared to storm out of the interview Morgan after he was questioned about losing the 2020 election.

A dramatic 30-second clip also showed the former US leader calling Morgan “dishonest” and “a fool”.

During the interview, Trump, 75, appears to become agitated when Morgan tells him that the 2020 election was not rigged and that “you lost”.

The former president responds: “Only a fool would think that”.

According to The Sun, Morgan added that he wants his new show to serve as “a platform for lively, vigorous debate, the news-making interviews, and that increasingly taboo three-letter word – fun. I also want it to annoy all the right people.”

Piers Morgan Uncensored premieres Tuesday 26 April at 9pm AEST on Sky News. Watch on Foxtel, Stream on Flash.
