A Paris Hilton fan is going viral on TikTok after confessing to having robbed the famous DJ and reality star over a decade ago — and she responded via the app.
The story came from one half of AsapSCIENCE — a YouTube channel created by Canadian YouTubers Mitchell Moffit and Gregory Brown.
Mr Brown used his official TikTok account and the recent viral ‘One thing about me’ rapping trend to confess to his crime from early adulthood.
“One thing about me is that I once robbed Paris Hilton,” he sang, “and I hope she never sees this because I could go to jail.”
He went on to explain that in 2007 he had been at an MIA concert in Toronto, where he had been drinking and smoking weed.
“I left the concert and then a big black car pulled up and all these people screamed and Paris Hilton got out,” Mr Brown continued, explaining that he actually asked her for a photo at the time.
“Everyone went and did their thing, they all left, but the car was still there and me and my friend opened the door,” said Mr Brown.
“There was no one in the car, so we just got in the car … we were laughing, we were screaming, we were in Paris Hilton’s car. Then my friend said run and I thought the cops were coming so we ran, but my friend was actually screaming with joy because she’d stolen her Christian Dior sunglasses — sorry Paris.”
“We share them in a sisterhood of the travelling Paris Hilton sunglasses.”
“Please don’t put me in jail, you’re rich.”
That is a wild enough story on its own, but then Hilton did indeed see the video confession, and responded.
The star stitched Mr Brown’s video of her reacting to the story, and luckily she was all smiles.
“LOL! Can you please do a reveal of the sisterhood of the travelling Paris Hilton sunglasses?,” she captioned the video.
Mr Brown then responded back, thanking her for not getting him arrested and revealing the now infamous sunglasses.
“Paris, me so sorry for robbing you,” he said. “You want to join the sisterhood of the travelling sunglasses?”
“I was a wild child, thank you for being such a good sport … I’ll wear them out this weekend, for sure, in honour of you not taking me to literal court.”
