Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis’ surprise split is turning ugly, with new insight into their co-parenting relationship.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis now “don’t speak to each other”, it’s been revealed.

The former engaged couple, who were together for nine years, announced their split in November 2020.

They share two children together, son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 5.

Not much was known about their co-parenting relationship following their surprise break-up, however a source has told People they aren’t on speaking terms.

“She and Jason don’t speak to each other, so they have help communicating about the custody schedule,” the insider told the publication.

A sign of tensions between the former couple emerged in April, when Wilde, 38, was served with custody papers while onstage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

The actress and director was presenting Don’t Worry Darling during the Warner Bros. segment when a mystery woman handed her a yellow manila envelope marked “personal and confidential”.

Wilde paused her speech in front of a crowd of 3000 people, saying, “This for me?”

It was soon revealed the contents were custody papers from Sudeikis.

Just last week, Wilde claimed Sudeikis used “outrageous legal tactics” by serving her onstage.

“Jason’s actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard,” Wilde alleged in court documents,Page Sixreported.

“He could have served me discreetly, but instead he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible.”

Wilde further claimed that Sudeikis was intentionally trying to air their personal matters to the public in a way that isn’t fair to their two children.

The pair have been embroiled in a legal battle deciding where they will base their children, among London, Los Angeles and New York.

Despite tensions, the source added to People that Wilde still wanted their kids to have a relationship with their father.

“She hopes they can figure out the best living situation for everyone,” the insider said.

“(She is) upset about the custody drama, (but) wants the kids to see (Sudeikis) as much as possible.”

Two months after their split, Wilde was seen holding hands with British singer Harry Styles, 28, whom she met on-set of Don’t Worry Darling.

The unlikely duo are still together.

Sudeikis opened up about their split in a rare interview in August last year, saying he hopes the end of their relationship will make more sense in the future.

“I’ll have a better understanding of why in a year,” he said in GQ’s August issue.

“And an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five, and it’ll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle.”
