FANS are paying top dollar for “Meet n’ Greet” tickets on Justin Bieber’s latest tour — so you’d think he’d at least crack a smile for them.

JUSTIN Bieber’s ‘Purpose’ World Tour kicked off in the US this week — and so did the backstage meet-and-greet opportunities for fans.
However, Beliebers who paid top dollar for a candid snap with their idol might be a little underwhelmed by the result.
Bieber is offering two packages for those who want a little more than just a regular concert ticket on the Purpose Tour — and neither come cheap. For $US925 ($1240), you can pose in a group photo with Justin and get a few other perks including merchandise and early entry to the venue.
The second package — coming in at a whopping $US2000 ($2680) per person — includes a one-on-one selfie with Justin as well as top-quality seats to see the show.
So for $2000, you’d expect the sort of picture you can hang on the mantelpiece and treasure forever, right? Take a look:

C’mon Justin, crack a smile! If you need some inspiration, why not think about how you’re making $2000 just by posing for a photo.
With music sales dwindling, many pop acts nowadays add lucrative meet-and-greet ticketing options onto their tours — which can be awkward when the stars in question aren’t all that keen on actually meeting the great unwashed who buy their records. Who could forget Avril Lavigne, whose backstage meet-and-greet photos with fans were so awkwardly impersonal it looked as though she’d been quarantined with the Ebola virus:
Or Britney Spears — always a slightly shy and socially awkward person offstage — who endured a succession of meet and greet pics while looking like she’d rather be anywhere else in the world:
Faced with all these disappointing fan encounters, you’ve really got to give it up for one pop star who really delivers: Rihanna. Want to twerk on your idol? Want her to grab your butt? Whatever you want, Ri-Ri’s game for a great photo:
