ADELE has paid an emotional tribute to the victims of the London terror attack.
She dedicated her song Make You Feel My Love to them at her concert in New Zealand, where she said she felt “very strange” being so far away from her home city, reports The Sun.
The singer, 28, said: “Today there was a terror attack in my home town of London.
“I feel very far away and very strange not being at home. All I want to do today is just be at home and be with my friends and family.
“Everyone [I know] is fine, but there are four people that aren’t fine.
“So let’s dedicate this to them tonight and to my hometown which is my soulmate. This is Make You Feel My Love.”
The superstar was performing to 45,000 people at the first of three concerts at Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium on Thursday evening when she made the heartfelt comments.
They will be the final dates of her tour before she returns to London for four concerts in June and July at Wembley Stadium.
Four people have so far died, including the attacker, in what is the worst terrorist incident in the UK since the bombings on July 7, 2005.
At least 20 others are believed to have been injured.
James Corden also sent his thoughts to the British public on the Wednesday night edition of his US chat show the Late Late Show.
The 38-year-old said: “Watching the news today, I felt a really long, long way from home.
“When something like that happens in your hometown, you don’t have a feeling of being glad that you’re so far away. What you feel is that you wish you could be there with loved ones to stand alongside them.”
