Stephen King made an interesting movie admission, revealing 2007’s Transformers is the “only” movie he’s ever walked out of as an adult.

It seems Stephen King is not a fan of Transformers.
The 74-year-old writer responded to fellow author Linwood Barclay who tweeted on Monday that he recently walked out of Jurassic World Dominion.
The Shining author revealed he walked out of the 2007 action blockbuster midway through the movie.
“I have walked out of only one movie as an adult: TRANSFORMERS,” the novelist tweeted.
“Would like to know what other movies people have walked out on.”
King later clarified it was “Michael Bay. The first one” in the franchise.

Other users posted their own experiences leaving movies early and poked fun at the author’s movie admission.
“The thought of Stephen King walking up to the counter like, ‘one adult for TRANSFORMERS, please,’ is absolutely killing me,” joked one person.
Another person shared that they walked out of 2007 film The Mist which is based on King’s book.
“I’m so sorry in advance … I walked out of The Mist in 2007 … I was 15 years old, I got scared I went because I was a hardcore fan of your books, but I couldn’t stay it was too much,” they tweeted to King.
The first Transformers film grossed $709 million at the box office. Bay went on to direct four sequels released in 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2017.
While promoting his latest film Ambulance, the filmmaker admitted he should have stopped after three films.
Speaking to Unilad UK, Bay revealed Steven Spielberg, who produced Transformers, advised him to finish the franchise as a trilogy.
“I made too many of them,” the director told the publication.
“Steven Spielberg said, ‘Just stop at three.’ And I said I’d stop.
“The studio begged me to do a fourth, and then that made a billion too.
“And then I said I’m gonna stop here. And they begged me again. I should have stopped. [But] they were fun to do.”
