Margot Robbie stuns in pink ahead of Barbie release

The Aussie blonde bombshell arrived at ‘Barbieland’ looking like she’d just been unpacked from a Mattel toy box, complete with her pink convertible.

Looking as though she had just been unpacked from a Mattel toy box – Aussie actress Margot Robbie was the epitome of her new on-screen character – Barbie.

Robbie arrived at the ‘Barbieland’ event in LA at the weekend in a light pink Corvette with a matching Bottega Veneta ensemble featuring a silk skirt and bra, and completing the look with pink open toe stilettos, a bag and sunnies.

Inside the event, she was sporting a hot pink polka dot Valentino halter cutout dress with white stilettos, beaded bracelet and a yellow handbag.

The look was inspired by an outfit worn by a Mattel doll, the actor’s hair stylist Bryce Scarlett revealed.

Robbie and her co-stars including American Ferrera and Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the film, were photographed posing at the event in front of the pink and white convertible.

The 38-year-old actor will bring a taste of Hollywood to Australia when the press tour touches down in Sydney.

Warner Bros announced earlier this month that Gerwig, Robbie and co-stars Ferrera and Issa Rae will host a fan event at Westfield Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall on June 30.

The ‘Barbiecore’ craze, has also led to hot pink lipstick, bright nail polish, and “airbrushed” glossy skin trending in Australia, industry experts revealed last week.

The film hits cinemas on July 20.
