PREPARE to enter a journey of cutting-edge music when two international singers
take the audience to a new level at the Avalon Theatre tonight.

Chrysta Bell, with special guest performance by Rebekah Del Rio, both of California in the US, will push the boundaries and create an imaginative, otherworldly emotion that stays with the audience.

Known as Lynchian collaborators, because of their inspiration from David Lynch, creator of the mind-boggling Twin Peaks, both womenperform wistful, languid songs in the genre of dream pop.

“I enter into a relationship with the audience that takes us to another plane. It’s hard to put a label on it because it’s an emotional journey,” Chrysta Bell said.

“It’s important whoever comes to the performance comes with an open mind.”

Rebekah Del Rio is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter with a three-octave vocal range.

She is best known from her performance in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive, in which she sang her signature song, the hauntingly beautiful ballad Llorando, a Spanish-language version of Roy Orbison’s Crying.

Tonight she performs Llorando. Last night she sang in Dark Mofo’s Lynchian tribute Bang Bang Bar during Night Mass.

“Music is deep and profound and stirs emotions. Tears are the notes of the soul,” Del Rio said.

“The performance can bring people to tears, even making time stand still.”

Tonight’s show starts 8pm with some tickets available at the door.
