Taste of Tasmania: Let’s talk about state’s best food

The first in a series of panels at the Taste of Tasmania with the state’s top food experts will discuss the best of Tasmania’s food scene.

THE first in a series of panels by Tasmania’s top food experts will be held on Saturday as part of the Taste of Tasmania’s Live in Conversation Series.

In partnership with the Mercury, Saturday’s event – The Art of Sharing – hosted by Amanda Ducker, will see a panel of experts discuss the best of Tasmania’s food scene.

The session aims to inform the audience and create awareness about all the different types of sharing that are within reach, and how enriching it can be to think about food through the many prisms of sharing.

The high-profile panel includes Agrarian Kitchen’s Rodney Dunn, Matthew Evans of Fat Pig Farm and chef and food columnist Steve Cumper. Also appearing are Sprout Tasmania’s Tony Scherer and author Sarah Glover.

The discussion kicks off at the Taste at 1pm.
