HERE’S your chance to sing along to your favourite song at the Taste of Tasmania’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display.

In celebration of 30 years of the Taste of Tasmania, the festival has teamed up with the Mercury to find three people to help them curate the soundtrack of this year’s New Year’s Eve midnight fireworks display.

All you have to do is tell us about a song that is close to your heart — one that has meaning to you. It may be the song that was playing when you had your first kiss or a song that takes you back to being a kid again. All that you need to do is name the song and tell us why this song is important to you.

As well as having your song featured in the fireworks display, each winner and the story behind their song will be featured in the December 31 issue of the Mercury.

This is your chance to be a part of history and help contribute to the 30th birthday Taste of Tasmania celebrations.
