Plans show that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will join King Charles and Queen Camilla as they leave Westminster Abbey at the end of the ceremony on May 6, The Times reports.

The children are expected to join their parents in a carriage behind the King and Queen, who will travel in the Golden State Coach as they return to Buckingham Palace.

Prince George, who is second in line to the throne, and Princess Charlotte attended the late Queen’s funeral at Westminster Abbey last September.

Prince Louis, who is aged five, did not go to the Queen’s funeral as it was thought he was too young at the time.

The Times reports that Prince William and his wife Catherine, the Princess of Wales, are still considering what roles their children will play on the day of the coronation.

The children’s attendance at public events is not normally confirmed in advance, particularly for Prince Louis because of his age.

The Times reported that current coronation rehearsal plans do not suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle or the scandal-plagued Prince Andrew are expected to take part in the procession.

The Times also reported that Prince Harry’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, had not yet been invited to the coronation.
