Princess Catherine, Princess Charlotte, Prince William and Prince George turned out in full force for the Wimbledon men’s singles finals on Sunday, marking Catherine’s return after a standing ovation the day before — and Charlotte’s consecutive year taking in the iconic tennis spectacle.
The Princess of Wales, 43, and her daughter, 10, complemented each other in monochromatic outfits, Catherine in a cerulean blue dress, and Charlotte in a cream dress with navy piping.
Charlotte wore her hair mostly out except for Dutch braids, presumably done by her mum, while Catherine left her tresses long, matching her daughter for length.
The young princess put on an animated display during the match and at one point pressed her hands to her face, showing off her pink nail polish.
The two princesses shared confidences and chats as the game progressed.
As the afternoon sun swung around the stadium, Catherine gave her daughter sunglasses, and popped on a broadbrimmed summer hat, pulling out paper fans to keep themselves cool.
Princess Catherine is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and has frequently presented the trophies to Wimbledon winners.
Wimbledon is becoming a fixture in the Waleses’ summer calendar.
World No. 1 Jannik Sinner beat two-time winning defending champ Carlos Alcaraz to clinch his first Wimbledon title and was presented with his award by the Princess of Wales as her family looked on.
In addition to the royal family, the royal box was crammed with celebrities and VIPs.
