Royals and celebrities turn out for Day 14 of Wimbledon

The royals have turned out in force alongside A-list stars and an Aussie tennis legend, as the Wimbledon royal box overflowed with huge names. See the video.

Princess Catherine, Princess Charlotte, Prince William and Prince George turned out in full force for the Wimbledon men’s singles finals on Sunday, marking Catherine’s return after a standing ovation the day before — and Charlotte’s consecutive year taking in the iconic tennis spectacle.

The Princess of Wales, 43, and her daughter, 10, complemented each other in monochromatic outfits, Catherine in a cerulean blue dress, and Charlotte in a cream dress with navy piping.

Charlotte wore her hair mostly out except for Dutch braids, presumably done by her mum, while Catherine left her tresses long, matching her daughter for length.

The young princess put on an animated display during the match and at one point pressed her hands to her face, showing off her pink nail polish.

The two princesses shared confidences and chats as the game progressed.

As the afternoon sun swung around the stadium, Catherine gave her daughter sunglasses, and popped on a broadbrimmed summer hat, pulling out paper fans to keep themselves cool.

Princess Catherine is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and has frequently presented the trophies to Wimbledon winners.

Wimbledon is becoming a fixture in the Waleses’ summer calendar.

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner beat two-time winning defending champ Carlos Alcaraz to clinch his first Wimbledon title and was presented with his award by the Princess of Wales as her family looked on.

In addition to the royal family, the royal box was crammed with celebrities and VIPs.

Aussie Hollywood star and Vogue fashion icon Anna Wintour were transfixed by the action of the women’s doubles final match between Veronika Kudermetova of Russia and Elise Mertens of Belgium against Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia and Su-Weih Hsieh of Taiwanon.

Kidman sported a cream Panama hat and dark glasses but shed them to show her face and long tresses.

Joining them in the same row and occasionally leaning in for a chat were actress Bend It Like Beckham Keira Knightley and her husband, musician James Righton.

Seated in the row in front of them was an animated Former Gentlemen's Singles Champion Lleyton Hewitt and his wife, Rebecca Hewitt, chatting animatedly.

Virgin business magnate Richard Branson was seen speaking with actor Matthew McConaughey in the Royal Box prior to the Gentleman's Singles Final between Carlos Alcaraz of Spain and Jannik Sinner of Italy.

McConaughey’s wife, Camila Alvez, sported a tan akubra and attended with her Hollywood hubby.

Acclaimed American actor John Lithgow was seen waving to the crowd as he took his seat in the royal box.

Also there to watch the women’s doubles were actors Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal who became close friends while working together in the movie All of Us Strangers.

Earlier in the day, a solo Orlando Bloom posed for photos in the AELTC Parkside Suite in No. 1 Court.

Also rumoured to be courtside watching the action of Day 14 were Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer and Man of Steel Henry Cavill.
