Princess Catherine was seen bandaged but in good spirits during an official visit to a men’s prison in the UK.
Taking the spotlight away from her new haircut, the Princess of Wales’ right hand was strapped with medical tape after what she said was a trampolining injury.
The mother-of-three had her index and middle finger taped together after suffering the injury while playing with her kids at home.
The apparent fall didn’t stop Princess Catherine from fulfilling her scheduled appearance at HMP High Down in Surrey ahead of Addiction Awareness Week.
The Princess, a patron of addiction charity The Forward Trust, spoke to inmates struggling with addiction while in prison.
The skin-tone plaster tape isn’t the first time the Princess has appeared in public despite suffering an injury.
The seemingly injury-prone princess appeared with plaster tape on her thumb in 2022 during a visit to the Royal Surrey County Hospital’s Maternity Unit, and again a few months earlier the Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II at St Paul’s Cathedral.
In 2020, she appeared with Prince William in Bradford with plaster on her thumb, as well as at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019.
Kensington Palace spokesman said the latest incident was “a small injury, nothing serious”.
While the palace did not give details on how she was injured using the trampoline, Prince Catherine has previously spoken about squeezing in trampoline exercises to keep fit.
“It’s running around after the children - I do it all, whenever I can squeeze in exercise I do, even jumping on the trampoline with my children before school,” she told England’s wheelchair rugby team in January.
