Prince Harry reportedly plans a whistlestop trip to his father’s coronation and will jet back to the US within hours of the historic ceremony ending.

Prince Harry plans a whistlestop visit to his father’s coronation next weekend.

He will see King Charles crowned at Westminster Abbey on May 6 then aims to leave within two hours after the ceremony ends to be back in the US for son Prince Archie’s fourth birthday, The Sun reports.

An insider told The Sun: “He’ll be in and out of the UK in 24 hours.

“He will only be doing the coronation service then leaving.”

The Duke of Sussex, who stunned the world his explosive royal revelations in his tell-all memoir Spare, will be making a solo appearance at the historic event with wife Meghan Markle staying in California.

It comes amid long-held speculation by royal watchers over how long the estranged royal intends to stays in London.

The Duke’s full travel plans have been kept secret for security reasons, The Sun reports, but it is believed he will arrive in London on the Friday before the ceremony by private jet.

The whirlwind visit makes potential private meetings between Prince Harry and other family members unlikely, The Sun reports.

Relations between Prince Harry and his older brother Prince William are known to be at breaking point after the fallout from Spare and the bombshell Netflix series Harry & Meghan.

The Sun reports that Prince Harry will stay at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, his former marital home.

He and Ms Markle were famously evicted from the residence by King Charles earlier his year after the release of Spare.
