Disgraced royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has again been spotted riding on the Windsor Estate, despite being asked to move out of his lavish Royal Lodge mansion weeks ago amid the fallout over his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew looked downcast as he and a female companion went out for a ride on his horses.
Despite being ordered to move out of the residence on the estate by King Charles, the former prince appears to have not yet made the move to his reported new home in Sandringham.
It comes as he and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson suffer fresh humiliation amid reports they have been banned from Annabel’s, an exclusive $8000 a year club where they used to mingle with the elite in London’s ritzy Mayfair.
The pair have apparently been turned away from the private club frequented by royalty and A-listers, with staff told not to let them through the front door.
Unlike daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Andrew and Fergie were official members of the club, but were allowed to come and go in an arrangement enjoyed by VIPs.
The Yorks have partied at Annabel’s for decades, with Eugenie celebrating her birthday at the club in 2023 and Andrew holding his own 30th birthday there in 1990.
The ban is believed to cover the four exclusive sister venues owned by the Birley Group, including Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar, George and Bath & Racquets.
A source, speaking to the Daily Mail, said: “Sarah and Andrew at this point would be turned away. Their type of notoriety is not what the club needs.”
ANDREW UNDER PRESSURE TO TESTIFY
Pressure is mounting on the disgraced royal to testify about his links to Epstein before the US Congress after an extraordinary intervention on the weekend by British PM Sir Keir Starmer.
It comes as a hunt is under way to find any emails and phone records from Andrew’s protection officers in relation to claims that the former prince asked his bodyguard to uncover private details about his late Australian-based accuser Virginia Giuffre in a bid to smear her reputation.
Emails purportedly claim Andrew, who has been stripped of his titles over his links to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, gave his personal protection officer Ms Giuffre's date of birth and confidential social security number in the US.
At least two of Andrew’s former protection officers have been spoken to by Met police officers investigating the claims that the disgraced royal told his bodyguard to dig up dirt on Ms Giuffre, The Sun reports.
British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said Andrew, who has ignored requests from members of a powerful US Congress committee to appear over his links to Epstein, should be prepared to share information about his connections to the financier.
Asked whether Andrew should give evidence, The Times reports, Sir Keir said: “A general principle I’ve held for a very long time is that anybody who has got relevant information in relation to these kinds of cases should give that evidence to those that need it. That would be my general position on this.”
When pressed on whether this should apply to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor too, Starmer said: “In the end that will be a decision for him. But my general position is if you have relevant information you should be prepared to share it.”
Earlier this month, Democratic members of the House of Representatives’ oversight and government reform committee wrote to the royal, saying it was “time for former prince Andrew to come forward about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein”, and that “the survivors deserve justice.”
Meanwhile, Ms Ferguson is considering offers for a tell-all TV interview in the wake of her public downfall.
Channels in the US, UK and the Gulf states are said to be willing to pay six-figure sums to secure what would be Fergie’s first interview since she lost her Duchess of York title and was told to leave Royal Lodge.
Palace aides are worried Ms Ferguson could go “rogue” and sit down for an explosive tell-all with chat-show guru Oprah Winfrey, The Sun reports.
A source told The Sun: “There’s a danger of her going rogue and saying things that could cause embarrassment for King Charles and Queen Camilla, or other members of the family.”
Royal author Andrew Lownie said the disgraced former prince and Ms Ferguson may never step foot on US soil again due to backlash from the Epstein scandal.
“He — or his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson — will never travel to the United States again. Neither want to be arrested or forced to testify in front of Congress about their friendship with Jeffrey Epstein,” Lownie told NewsNation’s Paula Froelich.
