Kim Kardashian’s ex, Ray J, arrested over allegedly threatening his wife with a gun on a live stream
Kim Kardashian’s infamous ex-boyfriend has been arrested after he allegedly pulled a gun on his ex-wife while on a live stream.
Singer Ray J has been arrested after he allegedly pulled a gun on his ex-wife Princess Love and threatened to shoot a man during a livestream, according to a bombshell report.
The 44 year old, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr, was cuffed and booked in a Los Angeles, California, jail early Thanksgiving morning.
TMZ broke the news of the arrest, and The U.S. Sun obtained jail records showing he was behind bars.
According to the outlet, Norwood was booked on a charge of making a criminal threat, and his bail was set at $50,000.
The arrest came after the rapper went on a tirade during a Twitch livestream early Thursday morning.
He said it was the “worst Thanksgiving in the f*****g world” as he claimed someone was trying to take away his children.
At one point during the stream he appeared to load a handgun on camera before vowing to keep his kids at home.
“I’m in my own house and if these n****s step foot close to this door I’m going to blow this f*****g s**t away, bro,” he said.
“I don’t give a f**k bro, leave me and my kids alone.”
Eventually, Love, 41, walked into the home and said she was taking their children Melody, 7, and Epik, 5.
Love and another woman appeared to gather the kids, but Norwood accused them of being drunk.
“Drive drunk, Princess,” he could be heard saying.
“Want to take my kids, you and your drunk cousin, ‘cause y’all drunk as f**k and y’all alcoholics. Take my kids then, go ahead.”
Love then could be heard saying that Norwood was pointing a gun at her and called him a “woman abuser.”
The group got into a heated argument, and another man outside of the frame could be heard piping up and trying to calm the situation.
The other man urged Norwood to “chill,” but the rapper screamed “I’ll kill you, bro” and appeared to get in a scuffle off camera.
Toward the end of the stream, a child could be heard crying and police appeared to enter the home.
According to arrest records, Norwood was arrested just after 4am and was booked at 6:38am.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Norwood’s agent for comment.
Norwood, who is the younger brother of actress and singer Brandy, has been in an off and on again relationship with Love for years.
They were married in 2016, but Love filed for divorce in 2020.
However, the two were seen making out in public earlier this year.
