BRITISH actor and comedian Stephen Fry has hinted he would like to have kids with young love Elliott Spencer after the two recently tied the knot.

Fry and Spencer, 27, married in a private ceremony last week. In an interview with The Sun, Fry gave a tantalizing hint that the pair might be considering babies, saying: “’Well that is peeping.”

The actor had been talking about his two autobiographies when he told the paper: “Volume One, the marriage is still... I hope it will never close, but in Volume Two the little family, the patter of tiny feet. Come back to me on that one.”

Fry’s marriage has been greeted with an outpouring of public support for the actor who is beloved in his native England.

Celebrities including actor Hugh Laurie and celebrity cook Nigella Lawson rushed to congratulate the happy couple.

“Bloody hell it’s happened! @ElliottGSpencer has made an honest man of m’col. Love and happiness to all!!” wrote Laurie on Twitter.

Spencer’s dad Robert, who at 57 is the same age as his new son-in-law, said he and his wife Melanie, 52, are “over the moon” at the marriage.

It was not known how many friends or family attended the nuptials but Fry tweeted that their vows had been witnessed by an Oscar Wilde doll.

Wilde, who Fry played in a movie of the same name, was famously imprisoned after having an affair with the son of the Marquis of Queensberry in 1895.
