According to the Daily Telegraph, the co-stars are now quietly dating after five years of playing each other’s love interests in the long-running soap.

News of a romance comes days after the outlet revealed that Nicodemou had split from her partner of eight years, businessman Adam Rigby.

As for Stewart, he and his wife, former Home And Away star Sarah Roberts, quietly separated and finalised their divorce in March this year after five years of marriage.

The new couple play Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan on the Seven program and just recently their characters got married onscreen, delighting fans.

Rumours of a romance between Nicodemou, 46, and Stewart, 48, began circulating late last year when they were reportedly seen kissing at the Seven Network Christmas party.

In the months that followed, the pair were spotted at the movies, openly holding hands.

Their characters Leah and Justin were recently married on the show.

“They weren’t really hiding it,” one onlooker told The Sunday Telegraph. “They were holding hands and he touched her bottom numerous times. There was nothing platonic about it.”

A friend told the outlet that the pair have tried to keep their romance under wraps for as long as possible, as they just got out of long-term relationships and “knew the spotlight would be on them if the secret got out”.

However, it seems there’s no hard feelings between Nicodemou and her ex Rigby who parted on good terms.

“Everything is amicable,” a separate source told the Daily Telegraph last week. “They remain friends but decided to go their separate ways.”

Nicodemou split from Adam Rigby late last year after eight years together.

Prior to her relationship with Rigby, the actress was married to Chrys Xipolitas from 2007 to 2016 and they share one child together, 11-year-old son Jonas.

Meanwhile, Stewart and Roberts’ divorce was only made public last month when the actress shared the news with Stellar.

“I just want to say that I am divorced,” she told the magazine, adding that she and Stewart kept the split secret because of the “stigma and shame” associated with divorce.

However, Roberts – who played Willow Harris on H&A from 2017 to 2021 – is now ready to own her narrative and “not hide in the shadows”.

Stewart was married to former Home And Away star Sarah Roberts for five years.

“What I’ve learnt from this journey of becoming a divorcee is that it’s so important to reach out to others who have experienced similar things,” she said.

“I hid for a very long time. There were times when I didn’t feel like I could see the light or a way out of these big, complex emotions that I was feeling.

“But I hope that by just being honest today, I’ll free myself, and potentially free a lot of other people, to be able to speak their truth.”

Stewart has also dated actress Jessica Marais, who is the mother of his daughter, Scout, who turns 12 this week. The couple were together for six years before their split in 2015.
