Angelina Jolie goes ‘Instagram official’ with rumoured British rapper boyfriend

The Hollywood star has been spotted once again with her rumoured boyfriend as her ex Brad Pitt’s romance heats up.

Angelina Jolie has gone Instagram official with her rumoured Brit rapper boyfriend Akala.

The 49-year-old Hollywood star was captured in photos just last month with the rapper, as they left a hotel in Venice.

Akala, 40 – birth name Kingslee James McLean Daley – has now been spotted at the same event as Angelina in a post on Instagram, reports The Sun.

The event happened in New York, and it was hosted by actress Angelina for her company Atelier Jolie.

The pair appeared individually in different slides, but fans noticed that Akala was in attendance nonetheless, in their first Instagram post together.

The post was shared on the Atelier Jolie Official Instagram page, and captioned: “Atelier Jolie welcomed Mustafa at 57 Great Jones, hosting a special listening party and panel discussion for his debut album, Dunya, out now.

“Join us in celebrating this stunning 12-song collection, where folk meets poetry. The album is available to stream now on all platforms.”

In the photos, Angelina could be seen sitting down to interview Mustafa, an acclaimed performance poet, as her political activist rumoured boyfriend watched on in a black crew neck T-shirt.

The Sun has contacted Angelina’s representatives for comment.

The photos come just days after Akala joined the ex-wife of Brad Pitt at the 62nd New York Film Festival premiere of her film Maria.

There have been a handful of sightings of Angelina and Akala.

In November 2023, the duo was seen leaving a restaurant in Milan, where Angelina was filming the upcoming biopic, Maria.

Six months earlier, the Academy Award winner and her rumoured beau were seen again at the Calabash Literary Festival in Jamaica.

Akala joined Angelina and her daughters Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18, for the event, setting off chatter that a romance was brewing.

But sources close to Angelina told TMZ that she and the British rapper aren’t dating and are just friends.

They also claimed that Akala has a girlfriend, Chanelle, with whom Angelina is friendly.

The insider said the trio have known each other for years.

At the Venice Film Festival recently they appeared to be in a deep conversation as they walked side-by-side – Angelina donning a floor-length gold Grecian dress while Akala rocked grey pants and a matching jacket.

The sighting added fuel to the rumours that they’re dating, as they’ve appeared to be travelling together quite a bit lately.
