Kylie Jenner finally reveals her daughter’s name

Kylie Jenner’s cosmetics brand is set to make her the richest of her sisters.

NEW mother Kylie Jenner has announced her baby daughter’s name in an Instagram post, and it’s oddly familiar.

The cosmetics mogul posted a picture of her newborn daughter, with her tiny hand gripping her mother’s thumb. Jenner simply captioned the photo “Stormi” with an angel emoji.

Fans speculated that the little girl would be named Butterfly, Monarch or Mariposa after Kylie released a video that included shots of her holding a butterfly necklace and a butterfly-themed nursery.

Instead, the name Jenner chose is reminiscent of Stormy Daniels, the porn star who Donald Trump allegedly had an affair with. While Jenner may have missed the connection, Twitter users didn’t — and were quick to point it out.

“Who’s gonna tell Kylie about Stormy Daniels?” one Twitter user asked, while another simply said “Kylie doesn’t read the news”. Meanwhile, a user called Presto123 said the name was “cruel”.

Caitlyn Jenner has broken her silence after Jenner gave birth, reports the New York Post.

“My daughter just had a daughter,” the 68-year-old former Olympian gushed on Instagram. “It’s amazing to be by your side through this journey. She’s SO beautiful already. Can’t wait to watch her grow. Throwback to my baby, as a baby @kyliejenner.”

Kylie, 20, replied to Caitlyn’s message, “Love you”.

The baby celebrations comes as Jenner is declared set to become the richest of her siblings within the next few years, thanks to her popular Lip Kits.

Jenner’s beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics, is estimated to have brought in a cool $386 million in sales in 2017. With predictions that the brand will be worth $1 billion by 2022, Jenner’s net worth is expected to soon surpass her sister Kim’s.

According to Forbes magazine, Kylie’s current net worth is around US$50 million (A$63 million), while Kim Kardashian West is sitting on a cool US$175 million (A$221 million).

The 20-year-old, who gave birth to her first child on February 1, first launched her Kylie Lip Kits on November 30, 2015.

The first three shades sold out in seconds, and the brand’s popularity shows no signs of slowing down.

In addition to her cosmetics brand, Jenner has amassed her fortune from Keeping Up With The Kardasians, a reality TV show that she has appeared on since she was 10 years old.

According to The Sun, the Kardashian-Jenners landed a $120 million deal with E! which gave the network rights to distribute the reality show for four more years. Kylie earns an estimated $7000 for each episode.

The social media star also makes money from sponsored posts, brand deals, modelling and apps.
