Jaden Smith, Scout Willis and other untalented children of talented celebrities

THEY’RE the wannabe stars who are desperate to follow in the footsteps of their famous parents but they’re missing one vital thing ... talent.

WHEN the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer dropped last week, viewers were agog at the performance of Dakota Johnson.

Is the daughter of Melanie Griffith (an Oscar nominee for Working Girl) and Don Johnson (who in the 1980s was considered one of the coolest stars on TV, thanks to Miami Vice) really ready for star billing, or is she going to turn out to be yet another failed child of celebrity parents?

Let’s take a look at some of the least talented children of showbiz greats.

Jaden Smith:

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith won’t take no for an answer: They’re determined to turn at least one of their kids into a star, despite their evident lack of ability.

But, hey, maybe the Karate Kid actor will make up for his last fiasco with a sequel: After After Earth, anyone?

Connor Cruise:

The 19-year-old adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman was woeful as one of the kids in the 2012 remake of Red Dawn.

This spring he did make headlines (well, a headline) in Us Weekly, though: “Tom Cruise’s Son Connor Cruise Reveals Weight Gain on Beach in Mexico.” Ouch.

These days he’s working as a DJ.

As a kid, she appeared in three of her parents’ films (The Scarlet Letter, Bandits and Breakfast of Champions).

Now, she’s so desperate for attention that, at age 22, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore has taken to walking around the streets of Manhattan topless.

Amy Redford:

Dad Robert and mum Lola van Wagenen lent Amy their looks, but at 44, small parts in Sunshine Cleaning and Maid in Manhattan remain her career highlights as an actor.

She also directed the obscure 2008 indie movie The Guitar.

Max Winkler:

The 30-year-old son of Henry Winkler and actor Stacey Weitzman made his film debut as a writer-director with the woeful 2010 effort Ceremony. He’s now directing sitcoms.

Rumer Willis:

Just 6 years old when she made her film debut (in Now and Then), Bruce and Demi’s daughter is still trying to get a foothold in acting.

She’s been taking bit parts and walk-on roles in low-budget movies and TV shows like the remake of 90210, on which she played Gia.

Remember her infamous lesbian kiss on the latter? Yeah, neither does anyone else.

Alison Eastwood:

The daughter of Clint Eastwood and Maggie Johnson is already 42, and still trying to make it, with the usual small parts in movies you never heard of leading to a new career high: a short-lived hosting gig on National Geographic’s Animal Intervention.

(Sibs Kyle, Francesca, Morgan, Kimber and Scott have all taken stabs at showbiz, too.)
