While David Beckham was perched in the Royal Box at Wimbledon, his son Cruz Beckham had set up camp in an unassuming tent pitched near the toilets at Glastonbury.

The 19-year-old son of the legendary football player and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham was spotted at the iconic music festival in Somerset, England at the weekend, surprising onlookers with his rather humble experience.

According to The Sun, the youngest of the British power couple’s three sons was seen fetching his belongings, including a guitar, from the $114 tent on Sunday as the festival officially wrapped with SZA’s headlining performance.

The publication also claims Cruz was denied entry to an exclusive camping area, where the likes of rocker Noel Gallagher and actress Anya Taylor-Joy were situated, because he didn’t have the appropriate wristband.

He later collected his possessions from his tent and left the show ground, per the outlet.

While Cruz grew up playing football as a junior, the young Beckham has since shifted his priorities to music, and has been playing guitar, piano and drums for years.

A report in The Sun published in February revealed Cruz plans to release his own songs at some stage this year.

“The plan is to launch this year to let people hear what he has been working so hard on for years,” a source said.

They continued, “There is a lot of excitement around him as a singer but he is also acutely aware that he really needs to prove himself so he isn’t just accused of being a nepo baby, which is why he has spent so long perfecting the music.

“A fortune has been spent on getting him in rooms with some of the best brains in the business and the results are promising.”

It’s understood Cruz has been splitting his time between his parents home in the UK and Los Angeles, where his older brother Brooklyn, 25, lives with wife Nicola Peltz, 29.

David, 49, and Victoria, 50, share four children, including Brooklyn, Romeo, 21, Cruz and daughter Harper, 12.
