Birthday post reveals Witherspoon’s doppelganger is her own daughter

THE Legally Blonde actress posted a photo for her daughter’s 17th birthday leaving people shocked at their physical similarity.

Actress Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe attend the 29th American Cinematheque Award honouring the Legally Blonde star.

REESE Witherspoon’s daughter Ava is the spitting image of her famous mother.

Reese celebrated her daughter’s 17th birthday by posting a photo to Instagram that highlighted the pair’s remarkably similar features.

“Can’t believe my baby is 17 today!” she wrote to her 7.2 million Instagram followers.

“I love you @avaphillippe. Your gorgeous heart and loving spirit never cease to amaze me! I’m so lucky the universe let me be your mother.”

Ava Phillippe, the daughter of Reese and actor Ryan Phillippe is the absolute mini-me of the 40-year-old actress.

Phillippe and Witherspoon were married from 1999-2007 and had two children during their eight-year marriage. The birthday girl Ava is the older sister of 12-year old Deacon Phillippe who also shares massive similarities with his actor dad.

The Walk the Line actress posted a throwback photo of herself from 1991 which also left her followers in awe at how twin-like the two blondes look.

If her mum’s success is anything to go by, Ava is set to have a pretty illustrious career.
