Young stars who had the nerve to release autobiographies

DESPITE the fact they’re barely out of diapers, some stars decided that the world needed to hear their words of wisdom about life, love and puberty. Here are five of the worst offenders.

CARA Delevingne is set to become the latest celebrity to release an autobiography at a ridiculously young age.

The 22-year-old model is reportedly writing a tell-all book about her childhood, but she’ll include some juicy celeb stories though right? Apparently not.

“She’s not interested in writing about her meteoric rise in the fashion world,” a source told The Sun.

“Instead she hopes to go into detail about her younger years. It’ll just be a collection of weird thoughts and anecdotes.”

Sounds fascinating, can’t wait to not read it.

Delevingne will now join the ranks of some other stars who, despite the fact they’re barely out of diapers, are convinced they have the right to deliver some words of wisdom to the world.

Here are some other offenders:

Justin Bieber: In 2010, when he was just 16 years old, bad boy Bieber released his autobiography, Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever.

In a press release for the book, the young pop star said, “This is my gift to you, the fans who’ve supported and been with me on this amazing journey every step of the way.”

Thanks Justin, you shouldn’t have ... no, seriously, YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE.

Here are some memorable quotes from the autobiography:

“Singers aren’t supposed to have dairy before a show, but we all know I’m a rule breaker. Pizza is just so good!”

“I’d just gotten the ugliest haircut of my life the day before. My trademark swoosh was hacked off into this squarish situation that kind of reminded me of Bart Simpson.”

“If I can do just one-tenth of the good Michael Jackson did for others, I can really make a difference in this world.”

Britney Spears: Despite the fact she’d only been on the scene for two years, Britney thought it was appropriate to release her autobiography, Heart to Heart, in 2000 when she was 19 years old. You might be thinking, ‘Wow, Britney wrote a book, that’s impressive!’ But before you give her a pat on the back, you should be aware that her mum co-wrote the book, and by co-wrote we mean she probably did most of the work.

Here are some memorable quotes from the autobiography:

“I don’t like defining myself. I just am.”

“Back home, folks always joke that my mama and I can complete each other’s sentences. It’s true — and besides that, she calls me at exactly the moment I need her most. Don’t ask me how she does it.”

Miley Cyrus: Back when Miley was a (fairly) innocent 16-year-old, she released her autobiography, Miles to Go. In the book, Cyrus fills the pages with wise words of advice, including urging her fans to “Do what you are afraid to do”. For me, that would be to read the entire book.

Here are some memorable quotes from the autobiography:

“It’s the little things that make us who we are in the bigger world.”

“Little moments attach themselves to other little moments and collect into big dreams. We become what we experience.”

“Sit back, enjoy the ride and hang out with me for a little while. (sorry, cheesy driving metaphor!)”

Paris Hilton: When she was just 23 years old, Paris Hilton gifted the world with her autobiography, Confessions of an Heiress. Not only did she promise to reveal some “secrets”, but she also included some handy tips on how you too can become an heiress, starting with “Be born into the right family”. Why didn’t I think of that? Thanks Paris.

Here are some memorable quotes from the autobiography:

“The way I keep people wondering about me is to smile all the time and say as little as possible. Smile beautifully, smile big, smile confidently, and everyone thinks you’ve got all kinds of secret things going on.”

“There’s nothing worse than a sweaty guy who kisses you on both cheeks. Once is bad enough, but to have to go through it twice is really two times too much.”

“Despite what you’ve read, being a famous heiress is not that easy. It is, of course, fun and exciting, and it comes in handy for air travel. But look around you, and in the gossip columns: Not every heiress is famous. Or fun. There are a lot of boring heiresses out there. What a waste, I say!”
