LISA Wilkinson has appeared on a new magazine cover looking almost unrecognisable after undergoing an edgy makeover.
The 57-year-old appears in this Sunday’s issue of Stellar magazine to celebrate her ten years co-hosting Today.
On the cover, she’s sporting a dramatic new look with slick wet hair, a dark plum lip shade, and an all-gold ruffled outfit.
The interview is all about Wilkinson’s impressive tenure in the hot seat on the Channel Nine breakfast show.
Despite the fact she’s spent more than 35 years in the industry — having started as a receptionist at Dolly Magazine when she was just 19 — the TV host recently admitted she wouldn’t be surprised if she was fired tomorrow.
“I come in every day thinking, ‘Any day now someone is going to pat me on the shoulder and say, ‘Okay, you’ve had enough fun now, time to pass the baton to the next one’,” she told the Daily Telegraph in December.
“For as long as (this job) lasts I’m going to make the most of it. There is no better job in television.”
