JULIA Morris has hitout at Womans Day and TV Week for running pictures of her children, which she says were taken “illegally”.

Morris, who is in South Africa co-hosting I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!, says she has done her best to keep her two daughters out of the media spotlight until now.

Woman’s Day and TV Week magazines have published photographs of her children, Ruby and Sophie, while they were on a family holiday just before Morris headed overseas for the Network Ten reality series.

“Both @WomansDay & @TVWEEKmag hv printed shots taken illegally of my children. I get that I’m snapped but it’s sick to take photos of kids,” Morris tweeted from South Africa.

She added, “we paid to get into the place where they took them so it is actually illegal.” Morris included both TV Week and Woman’s Day in one tweet when she responded to a comment, “@WomansDay @TVWEEKmag especially when I have never posted a photo of them ever.”

Fellow comedian Wendy Harmer was also dismayed at the glossy magazines being prepared to run the photos.

“Don’t know how women from these mags justify this stuff Guess they’ll say “sales” and move on,” Harmer tweeted.

There are a number of Australian celebrities who have issues with surreptitiously taken photos appearing in glossy mags.

Bec and Leyton Hewitt have had a long-running beef with the glossy mags for not only running photos of their children but spreading malicious gossip.
