JK Rowling backs student who accidentally uses one of her made up Harry Potter words
JK Rowling was clearly a fan of a student’s hilarious Harry Potter mistake which saw them using a word the author made up for her magical book series.

A SCIENCE teacher has blamed Harry Potter for one of his student’s funny exam mistakes.
Neil Baker took to Twitter to share his amusement at one of his pupil’s answers, on what appears to be a biology test, reports The Sun.
“I blame you for this @jk_rowling #mugglescience,” the teacher captioned the photo of the exam question.
The student in question seems to have inadvertently made reference to JK Rowling’s books in his answer – but their response doesn’t quite make sense outside of Hogwarts.
The question asked: “Sweat glands in the skin release sweat. Explain how sweat can cool the body down.”
The student answered: “The sweat disapparates off the body as the cool air gets to the skin.”
Unfortunately for the pupil, “disapparate” was not the word they were looking for and was made up by J.K. Rowling for the Harry Potter story.
The word comes from apparition and describes the magical act of vanishing to transport and reappear elsewhere.
In typical teacher style, Mr. Baker circled the enchantingly incorrect word using a red pen and wrote: “You’ve been reading too much Harry Potter! Evaporates!”
The amused teacher then shared the answer on Twitter, joking: “I blame you for this @jk_rowling.”
The tweet, which has now been set to private, had been liked over 16,000 times with many Harry Potter fans were been quick to comment.
Most were of the mind that there is no such thing as too much Harry Potter.
One wrote: “The teacher was incorrect about one thing: there’s no such thing as “too much” Harry Potter!”
Another added: “As mistakes go, I’d be pretty proud of this one”.
And the hilarious answer even managed to nab a retweet from JK Rowling herself – who was undoubtedly chuffed that her word had made it into a student’s vocabulary.
