WE KNOW her as a family-friendly wildlife warrior, but three months after turning 18, Bindi Irwin has cracked the Maxim Hot 100 list.
The annual list, put together by the Australian men’s magazine, listed Irwin at number eight, in front of The Veronica’s at nine and Ruby Rose at number 10.
Maybe it’s just us, but seeing Bindi — who’s usual fan base is more tween than men’s magazine subscribers — is a little ick.
The publication, which describes the countdown as an “eclectic list of the most gifted and gorgeous Australian women who have impressed — and undressed — this year,” noted The Crocodile Hunter’s daughter’s recent coming of age and subsequent eligibility for inclusion in such a list.
It also had a word of warning for her American wakeboarder boyfriend, Chandler Powell.
“Some advice, mate — when your girlfriend’s family owns a pit of crocodiles, you’d best be doing what she says,” the magazine warned.
Coming in at number one was Margot Robbie. After a mammoth year that included huge Hollywood films The Legend Of Tarzan and Suicide Squad, as well as hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live, we’re sure Robbie’s inclusion on this list is the thing she’ll cherish most from 2016.
The Wrong Girl star Jessica Marais came in at number two followed by Delta Goodrem and Jennifer Hawkins.
Bikini model Renee Somerfield placed at number five, ahead of Miranda Kerr at spot six, and Olympia Valance rounded out the top 10 in spot seven.
While inclusion in the lower numbers of the list is seen as a compliment, the same can’t be said if your name appears closer to 100.
Pauline Hanson scored the final spot, with Jessica Rowe (91), Lucy Turnbull (93) and Julie Bishop (98) keeping her company in the bottom 10.
