‘There’s nothing there!’: Serial killer’s tiny penis became key evidence against him
One of the world’s most notorious serial killers may have only been convicted for 26 heinous crimes because of his “pinky-sized” genitalia.
It’s been a huge week for micro-penises — especially those belonging to psychopaths.
First, it was revealed that DNA evidence has shown that Hitler may have had a miniature soldier.
Now, a new book claims that the “Golden State Killer” — the infamous serial killer who was famously caught with the help of Michelle McNamara, the wife of Patton Oswalt — may only have been caught because of his shrunk schwanz.
Thien Ho’s The People vs. the Golden State Killer reveals that the key clue was the detail that allowed detectives to connect multiple sets of crimes to the same perpetrator, according to Page Six, following a sneak peek.
Joseph DeAngelo had been arrested on suspicion of several brutal crimes around California, but cops believed he might also be responsible for those committed by a perpetrator then known as the “East Area Rapist.”
Victims of both crimes he was already suspected of, and the still-unsolved crimes, had described the perpetrator as having a tiny penis.
With no DNA linking him to those cases, Ho writes, “I needed circumstantial evidence corroborating his identity as the EAR. I needed to confirm the extreme smallness of his penis.”
Cops and a photographer were assigned to take pics of DeAngelo’s genitalia while he was in custody.
Ho writes that the photographer “knelt down to do so, but he grew frustrated after several failed attempts.”
“[One of the cops] threw up his hands in the air in exasperation and barked … ‘There’s nothing there,’” he writes.
“It’s smaller than the circumference of a dime, and its length is equal to the tip of your pinky,” the police reported to Ho.
“We had the circumstantial evidence we needed in order to corroborate the testimonies of DeAngelo’s victims,” Ho writes.
In 2020, DeAngelo pleaded guilty to 26 crimes, including the East Area attacks.
He was given multiple consecutive life sentences with no possibility of parole.
