Abbie Chatfield was one of a few Aussie celebrities who made the call to give the Logies a miss.
The red carpet was rolled out at The Star in Sydney for the 64th Logie Awards, with comedian Sam Pang returning as host on Sunday night.
The Morning Show presenter Larry Emdur took out the famed Gold Logie after he previously vowed to get “all the nominees’ initials tattooed on (his) arse” live on television.
“So, we’ll see you on The Morning Show tomorrow morning,” he said as he accepted his award, though the presenter is yet to hold up his end of the deal.
Despite Australia’s celebrities packing into the venue for the event there were a few notable absences, including podcast host Abbie Chatfield.
The reality television star earlier revealed she wouldn’t be attending the event, calling it “too much faff”.
“I’m not going. I don’t want to work for free, too much faff. It’s so much faff!” she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
“Adam (boyfriend Adam Hyde from Australian band Peking Duck) gets home from his shows at five o’clock, so I’ll be getting him from the airport and probably having dinner at home and we’ll go to the movies or something.”
However, Chatfield previously pointed out that her show Fboy Island had been “robbed” of a Logie nomination, which may have prompted her to snub the event.
Chatfield wasn’t the only celebrity who didn’t show up to the Logies, with Karl Stefanovic also not in attendance.
The Daily Telegraph reported it’s believed the Today host was celebrating his 50th birthday instead.
Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson also gave it a miss, with Sandilands earlier revealing on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that he just “can’t be bothered”.
Daryl Somers, who has won the Gold Logie three times, also wasn’t spotted at the event, along with Nine’s Eddie McGuire and Tracy Grimshaw.
