Aussie KPop star Rosé lands three Grammy nominations for hit song

Australia’s Rosé is set to be the darling of the 2026 Grammy Awards with nominations in three top categories thanks to her hit APT with Bruno Mars while Taylor Swift’s name was noticeably absent.

Australian KPop star Rosé has received three Grammy nods in top categories for her smash hit song APT, which she released with Bruno Mars.

Rosé was named as a Grammy finalist for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo alongside Bruno Mars.

The song itself was also nominated for Producer of the Year and Songwriter of the Year bringing it to a grand total of five Grammy nods.

Rosé whose real name is Roseanne Park, was born in New Zealand and raised in Melbourne. She attended Kew East Primary School and Canterbury Girls’ Secondary College before she successfully auditioned in Sydney with a South Korean music label who brought her to the country of her heritage where she eventually joined KPop band Blackpink.

Blackpink has a legion of fans and Rosé and Bruno Mars’ hit APT solidified the Australian star as a household name worldwide.

Overall, Kendrick Lamar leads the nominees with nine nods for the 68th annual Grammy Awards.

He’s followed by Lady Gaga who has seven nominations, topping her previous record of 6 Grammy noms in 2010.

Lamar was recognised for his latest album, GNX, which dropped last November.

Taylor Swift was not eligible to be nominated for a 2026 Grammy.

Her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, was released in October 2025, which fell outside of the eligibility period for the upcoming award show, which was between August 2024 to August 2025.

The winners of the 2026 Grammys will be announced on February 1 next year.
