‘Suits’ star hints cast is no longer friendly with Meghan Markle

One of the stars of Suits who attended the royal wedding has dropped a wildly candid revelation about Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle is no longer in touch with her Suits cast members, one of the stars of the show has sensationally revealed.

US actress Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson on the legal series and attended Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, made the blunt comment on the red carpet at the Golden Globes Monday.

Torres is attending the awards show at the Beverly Hilton with her fellow Suits co-stars Sarah Rafferty, Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht, who are all presenting at the ceremony amid the show’s record-breaking streaming success on Netflix three years after it wrapped.

Speaking to Variety, Torres was asked whether the cast asked Meghan to attend the Globes alongside them.

“We don’t have her number,” Torres candidly replied. “We just don’t.”

As the reporter awkwardly laughed, Torres continued, “She’ll see. She’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”

Torres, Adams, Rafferty, Macht and fellow Suits star Rick Hoffman were all guests at Meghan’s wedding, which took place in Windsor, UK, just weeks after her final episode aired.

The Duchess of Sussex played Rachel Zane for seven seasons from 2011 before leaving the show to become a royal.

Since then, multiple cast and crew members have repeatedly defended Meghan’s negative portrayal in the media.

In 2021, Adams, who played Meghan’s onscreen love interest Mike Ross, spoke out in favour of Meghan against “obscene” reports about her allegedly bullying palace staff.

“Meghan Markle and I spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits. From day one she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family,” he tweeted at the time.

“She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige and power accrued.

“It’s OBSCENE that the Royal Family, who’s newest member is currently GROWING INSIDE OF HER [Princess Lilibet], is promoting and amplifying accusations of ‘bullying’ against a woman who herself was basically forced to flea the UK in order protect her family and her own mental health.”

Adams’ bio on Instagram nowadays reads, “the guy from that show you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.”

Since joining the royal family, Meghan has fallen out with several people she was previously close with, including her father Thomas Markle and best friend, stylist Jessica Mulroney.
