The Tasmania schools that cost parents the most have been revealed.
An analysis of financial data from almost 10,000 schools listed on the Federal Government’s MySchool website revealed the schools that are costing parents the most for their children to attend.

The Friends’ School cost parents an average of $15,432 in 2017, Tasmania’s highest average fees, charges and contributions.
The figures includes how much the school has made from school fees, other charges to students as well as any donations or further payments.

The second highest parental contributions were at Scotch Oakburn College where parents forked out an average of $14,114 for their kid’s education in 2017.
Parents of students at The Hutchins School paid an average of $13,998 in 2017, Tasmania’s third highest average parental contributions.
