RESULTS for Tasmanian students in the numeracy section of the 2019 NAPLAN testing.

This section of the testing was the only area where Year 9 students performed the same of better than those in the grades below.

There were only 3.2 per cent of students failing to make the National Minimum Standard, NMS, in both Years 3 and 9, which was below the 4.8 per cent and 6.9 per cent resutls in Years 5 and 7 respectively

All numbers are percentages.
