Burger Got Soul
SINCE Burger Got Soul opened in Launceston 14 years ago, their Soul Deluxe Cheese Burger has been the consistent crowd favourite.
Featuring a juicy Tasmanian grass-fed beef patty, it comes with double American cheese, dill pickle, onion, soul mustard mayo and ketchup – it is also the personal favourite of owner Mathew Routley.
He said its always been a huge hit with customers along with weekly specials to keep things exciting like this week’s double beef brisket burger.
“A great burger is in the quality of the patty and fresh ingredients that speak for themselves – not the bun,” he said.
They like to do things a little differently at both their original store and its sister store at Sandy Bay.
So while they offer their version of classic gourmet burgers, their specialty is also to challenge what they stack.
The Cruze, another popular menu item, has buttermilk crunchy fried chicken, American cheese, peanut butter, lettuce, red onion, soul mayo and barbecue sauce with an option to add smoked bacon and jalapeños.
Voting for Tassie’s Best Burger Joint closes Sunday morning, 9am.
