Sun sets on CEO Harvey Lennon’s tenure at RACT
The search is on for a new CEO at Tasmania’s peak motoring body.

AFTER a 10-year reign, RACT chief executive Harvey Lennon has announced he will be step down in June to pursue other career opportunities.
Mr Lennon has been with the organisation for 21 years and led a significant period of major innovation and strategic change during his time at the helm.
“After two decades with the same organisation, it’s time for me to seek new challenges and for the RACT to introduce new leadership and perspective to its most senior management position,” he said.
RACT president Kathryn Westwood said Mr Lennon had played a prominent role in the
state’s burgeoning tourism industry, in which the organisation has made significant investments in under his leadership.
“He has also achieved growth in membership of the RACT, which is indicative of his commitment to constant improvement in service standards and product development,” she said.
The RACT will now begin the search for a new CEO.
