IN HIS weekly video wrap, above, Terry McCrann says irony was breaking out deadpan everywhere.

We had the ‘innovation PM’ — the smartest guy in the 21st century virtual reality room — enthuse about trains. And 19th century means of funding them.

We had the man who railed against producing too-much iron ore announcing that his company had — produced even more ore.

And we had various pressure groups calling for higher taxes — in the week the ‘Panama Papers’; showed how people flee, well, higher taxes.
