Coles launches massive $2m giveaway ahead of Christmas

Thousands of shoppers will be in the running to win up to $100 off their next shop as part of an instant win giveaway in the lead-up to the festive season.

Coles is offering shoppers the chance to nab instant cash off their grocery shop valued up to $100 in the lead-up to Christmas.

The supermarket giant will offer 66,000 customers the chance to win “instant money” while at the checkout as part of the supermarket’s Christmas Instant Win giveaway, with a total prize pool of $2m.

Starting Wednesday and ending on New Year’s Day, shoppers will have the chance to get part of their purchases for free, with more than 1000 shoppers having the chance to take $100 off their next shop.

A further 66,000 instant-win prizes will also be available during the giveaway that shoppers can use immediately or store on the Flybuys app for later shops.

To be eligible for the instant wins, shoppers must spend $20 or more in-store and scan their registered Flybuys.

Up for grabs are:

• 6667 x $10 off Coles shop prizes per week

• 4999 x $20 off Coles shop prizes per week

• 3333 x $50 off Coles shop prizes per week

• 1667 x $100 off Coles shop prizes per week

“Our Christmas Instant Win giveaway is all about adding a special surprise to the shopping experience, helping our customers get more value when they shop with us this holiday season,” Coles chief customer officer Amanda McVay said.

“We want to say thank you to our customers for shopping at Coles by spreading some festive cheer – and we can’t wait to see the joy and excitement as our customers win.”

Shoppers will have the option of using their instant wins immediately at the checkout or stack them up with other Flybuys offers and rewards in the same transaction. They are redeemable until Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
