Board shuffle for cable car company as chairwoman Jude Franks steps down

Mount Wellington Cableway Company chairwoman Jude Franks has stepped down from her role.

MOUNT Wellington Cableway Company chairwoman Jude Franks has stepped down from her role.

Ms Franks served as chairwoman for two years and will remain as an executive director of the business.

Chris Oldfield, also an executive director, has been appointed as her replacement.

Mr Oldfield has experience in project development, community consultation and governance having served as Australian Consul-General and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner in San Francisco for the past three years. Before that he was chief executive of Tasmania Irrigation.

Ms Franks said she looked forward to working with Mr Oldfield to develop and deliver the project.
