Driver charged with manslaughter over man’s death in Perth sand dunes

A 21-year-old driver has faced court charged with manslaughter after a man died in Perth sand dunes.

A 21-year-old man has faced court charged with manslaughter after a rough sleeper was found dead in Perth sand dunes.

The 42-year-old victim died in bushland off Sovereign Drive in Two Rocks on January 11.

St John Ambulance paramedics provided treatment to the man but he died at the scene, police said.

Brodey Kaeleb Foster has been charged with manslaughter, failing to stop and ensure assistance was received after an incident occasioning death, and failing to report an incident occasioning death.

He briefly faced Joondalup Magistrates Court on Wednesday and was released on bail with a $2000 surety.

Mr Foster, from Tapping, is due back in court on April 14.
