Emma McKeon gives an insight into life with Cody Simpson

Aussie swimming great Emma McKeon has opened the door to her relationship with Olympic hopeful Cody Simpson.

Emma McKeon and Cody Simpson are powering towards the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The glamour swimming couple both have big goals in the pool at the Games that get underway in just over seven months’ time.

And they are both ticking off loads of couple goals, judging by McKeon’s latest social media post.

In a toast to Simpson’s 27th birthday last Thursday, McKeon shared a number of photos and videos that demonstrate their life together.

“Happy birthday @codysimpson️,” McKeon wrote in the caption.

“Always making me smile, always making me laugh. Swipe for Cody bts (behind the scenes).”

McKeon, 29, is aiming to back up a wildly successful Tokyo Games, where she won four gold medals and seven in total.

Simpson shelved his successful singing career to make a return to swimming in 2019.

While he fell short of qualification for the Japanese Olympics, the butterfly swimmer performed well at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and looks a strong chance of making the team for Paris.

Among the photos posted to Instagram, the couple are seen lying down with Simpson holding a guitar and pulling a face.

There are also a couple of photos of Simpson cooking, suggesting he might be the main chef in the relationship.

McKeon also added some short videos to the post, including Simpson missing everything in a ten-pin bowling attempt and pulling another silly face after attempting to eat some food with chopsticks that was too hot.

McKeon’s post has over 13,000 likes and over 50 comments mostly showing their support of the popular couple.

While McKeon’s efforts in the pool heavily overshadow Simpson, she has a long way to go to reach his 5.2 million Instagram followers.

McKeon has 208,000 followers.
