Bodybuilder, Netflix star dies after running on a treadmill

Vittorio Pirbazari, a Netflix star and bodybuilder who was recovering from surgery, collapsed and died after running on a treadmill.

Bodybuilder and actor Vittorio Pirbazari has died at the age of 44.

The German Netflix star reportedly collapsed while running on a treadmill, The Sun reports.

The tragedy occurred three months after he underwent surgery to reattach a torn pectoral muscle.

The strong man also recently escaped from a major car crash with minor injuries to his vertebra and legs.

Pirbazari had been documenting his return to fitness for his 90,000 Instagram followers.

In a translated post, the star wrote: “My current form after 12 weeks without exercise or much exercise.

“Of course, it’s no comparison to before, but I’m on the right track given the circumstances.

“Unfortunately, I’ve lost a lot of muscle, but that’ll all come back when I can get going again.

“I’m happy to be back in the gym and am focusing entirely on leg training and cardio.

“I’m trying intervals on the treadmill right now, but since my legs aren’t 100 per cent healed yet, I’m taking it slowly.

“The only thing that’s important to me right now is not to give up and not let go and to get better day by day, week by week. Have a nice Sunday friends.”

As well as being a bodybuilder, Pirbazari was also well known in Germany for his role in a popular Netflix show.

The actor appeared in 2018’s Dogs of Berlin, which saw police investigate the murder of a fictional Turkish-German football star.

Tributes were paid online, with one fan saying: “RIP champ.”

Another declared: “I don’t want to believe it.”

One noted: “Shocked and sad.”

Another added: “Condolences to his loved ones.”
