Police have alleged the 12 people arrested were at Elizabeth’s Meredith Crescent home in Rangeville in the days leading up to her death on January 7.

The allegations

They will further allege the accused members were aware that Elizabeth had Type 1 diabetes and that medication was withheld from her and did not call for help.

Instead, it is alleged the group held a prayer service and sang songs, believing God would save Elizabeth’s life, before her death.

Elizabeth's parents, Jason Struhs, 50, and Kerrie Struhs, 47, were charged with murder, torture and failure to supply the necessaries of life on January 11.

Seven women and five men, aged between 19 and 65, were arrested on July 5 after a morning raid on a Harristown house and also charged with Elizabeth’s murder.

Who are The Saints

Elizabeth's older sister, Jayde, has spoken about what life was like in The Saints. Now 23, she told A Current Affair she left home at 16 after telling her mother she was a lesbian, which clashed with the family's religious beliefs.

Jayde claimed being part of The Saints meant no medical intervention was allowed, Christmas was not to be celebrated and members' one duty in life was to serve God.
