Two young men facing pub bans after Saturday night incidents
Police claim one man punched a security guard when refused entry to a pub while the other is accused of threatening to “glass” the pub manager.

Dalby police will seek a court order banning two 25-year-old men from attending any licensed premises in the town after alleged incidents Saturday night.
Sergeant Sean Donaghy of Dalby Police said one of the 25-year-old’s was refused entry to the Russell Tavern about 11pm Saturday.
However, he and another 25-year-old had returned to the pub about 1am and were again refused entry.
One of the men had then allegedly pushed a security officer over into a garden and then punched him in the face, Sgt Donaghy said.
When the hotel manager arrived at the scene, it is alleged the second 25-year-old, who allegedly had a stubby of Jack Daniels in his hand, said to the manager: “I’m going to glass you”, he said.
The pair had then walked off but were soon arrested by police and taken to the watch house from where they were bailed.
Both men were handed notices to appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on February 23, one charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and failing to leave a licensed premises and the other charged with making threats toward the hotel manager.
Sgt Donaghy reminded people on a night out that any forms of violence would not be tolerated by police and also reminded patrons of the “One Punch Can Kill” campaign message.
